Snow

One Minute Writing:

I have never experienced snow fall. I mean, I have seen snow on the ground, up in trees, on mountain tops everywhere, but I have never actually seen it fall. I can just imagine how beautiful it will be to have tiny snowflakes falling around your head. I might even try keeping my mouth open to try and catch one, like I have seen in some movies.

Oops.. One minute is quite short a time span ! It was over before I knew it !

Autumn

What was it about this time of the year that made him miss her so much? Was it the leaves that were the color of her tresses? Was it that certain whiff in the air? He could never really put his finger on it. Like he could never do on her. Just that he missed her so much. It made him wanna rip his heart right out and fling it far, far, far from sight !

He walked through the park, kicking the fallen leaves, and kicking himself for being this way. Wish he could do something about it. He heard a dog barking. She loved dogs. Damn her. Someone called out to their child. Cars zipped by. And after a while he was left standing all alone., just as she had left him. Cold and numb.

My name

My sister was the one who named me. Thankfully she didn't come up with something hideous or crazy ! It was the name of her favorite teacher, and that's how I got it. It has two meanings but the one I like more is 'the tip of a flame'. The other is, a tuft of hair. It also means 'deer' in Japanese..someone told me that once so I don't know if its actually true.

I personally do not know anyone by the same name. So to me it is unique. Friends of friends, TV star, Sports persons.... but no one who I have actually seen or spoken to. Thats got me pretty kicked.
I don't know if I would have hated to have a common name, but I like mine. Its simple, and nice. The most common name in my work place is Gauri ! I mean, we have like 6. Also, Gaurav & Amit among the men ! Just too many of them.

I know, I know.. ' Whats in a name?'... but thank god my sister wasn't inspired by a typically traditional name like padmalakshmi, shreelatha etc etc. Thank God !!!

One-minute writing begins

So I'm gonna be a one minute writer :)

After following the blog for some time now, I decided that I better get down to writing. It's kinda hypocritical to have the button on my blog but never actually write. So ya, here I go.

How would I destroy my computer if I was facing technical problems?

Hmm... Such a perfect one for me, coz firstly I'm always on the comp. Secondly I'm facing tech problems more than half of the time. I love my laptop tooo much to ever actually damage it, but so many times I've had this deep urge to just throw it against the wall. Its become really slow these days and gets hung most of the time. But I'd never actually do it. It's my lil baby and I need it too much.
My office PC, now that doesnt give me so much trouble. But when it does I would perhaps like to fling it onto the floor and stamp it to pulp ! If only :)
