This Saturday I had a burst of creativity and completed 4 painting... yes 4 !!! :D

This last one I started a while back and just finished this weekend ! I love the way its turned out :)

A sketch a day

So I got really inspired by the student blogs of the college I've applied to and decided to do a sketch a day. If not a sketch atleast somethign. So the last four days, this is what I've been upto.

New Art

Weekends is when all the creativity just bursts outta my head. So I started 3, and finished 2. This one is Work in Progress.
I am really enjoying working with dry pastels.

New Paintings

Last week I ended up not painting at all. So today when I woke up I was all charged up and ended up making a painting in just one hour. Now I'm about to start on another one and quite pleased with myself.

These are some of the paintings I made in the last few weeks.

Just a few days left till my portfolio deadline. I really need to hurry and create some more pieces.

And now for some color...

Tried dry pastels...need to work with them more !This was made after that night at the workshop when we were screamed at for making a bonfire! A huge deal was made out of it, and we felt like rebels :P

Kala Ghoda Arts Festival

So I finally was able to attend the KGAF this year ! So what if it was only one day, I went and that's all that matters !

I visited all the stalls, enjoyed the performances and Ooh-Aah-ed at all the displays ! And took some photos too. There were about a million photographers there with their DSLRs, but that didn't deter me. I boldly removed my cybershot and clicked away !

I had a fabulous time ! Witnessed such creativity (most of it) and some random commercial stuff ! I hope to come back next year with more time on hand !
