Status Messages

The first thing I do every morning when I log into my work e-mail is check the new status messages put up by everyone on my chat list. There are a particular few, for whom I wait everyday to update their status. They usually come up with really witty one liners. It doesn't really matter to me if it is taken from another site or if it is original. I am entertained and thats about it.

Today I came across these:

AM: The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

JC: When you face choices, just toss a coin. Not because it settles the question, but while the coin is in the air, you will know what your heart is hoping for.(This one I really like)

KN: "Wise men talk coz they have something to say ; Fools talk coz they have to say something"(Said by a true fool :D)

LR:♫ I'm on a seafood diet. Every time I see food, I eat it! .... Dedicated to SP n her never ending so called diets. (This could also very well be dedicated to me!!)

UG: The only real diet: If it tastes good ... spit it out. (Nice)

SP: I don't wanna fall in love. I'd rather fall in chocolate!

VG: I'm tired of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're headed, and meet up with them later.

So do u agree? Isn't it a great way to start a boring work day ??!!!!

No No I dint visit.. Just the movie :(

After a long time, Dad n I went for a movie, the last being Slumdog!

We went to the newly opened multiplex in Kharadi (God knows why they opened it in the middle of no where!) Its a nice place, huge area (though the parking isn't too well done. When we were leaving there was a slight jam)

It has 5 screens, out of which only 3 have been inaugurated. The hall we sat in (Screen 1) was quite big n spacious. The sound system was as good as any other multiplex.
Since its just started the ticket prices were very cheap. We paid just 60 bucks for an evening show ( Don't faint). Morning show tickets are 40 & 50. Evening 60 & 80. ( takes me back to the good old college days!)

The movie was decent. It has many firsts. First movie in which Katrina has shown a glimpse of her acting skills (which I doubted she had). First movie in which John showed & then went on to surpass his expression showing skills. Neil is decent enough, kinda demure after his Gaddaar look, though. I really loved Katrina's hair color, the red streaks were looking awesome.

A pretty decently made movie. It was terrible to see the kind of torture the 9/11 detainees went through. What justifies that? And then again, what justifies terrorist attacks? Its all a blame game.

The end of the movie though wasn't well directed or scripted. They just dint know what to do. So it was kinda haphazard. But overall, a one-time watch. Nice songs, especially Junoon !!

I would give it 3 stars !

A Random Office Conversation...

Bored as usual... A hunt for the perfect name started.

A: We need to find a name for her. ya tell sloth but she'll come to know
This group chat is now off the record (Extremely important step in a group chat.. or else.. !!!)
Me: WICKED VULTURE.. always swooping down on everyone?
A: wow that nice and funny
G: CHUCKLING HYENA cunning yet dumb?
Me: ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :)
A: Weasel with that stupid voice of hers
G: ssshhhheeeee yaar v are so fed up vid her
A: dumb bum?
G: wow madam b'tfully got rid of the a** word call her nything yaar she will remain as unreasonable and senseless dat she is
A: ya but a sweet pet name for that vamp is important
G: i swear it
A: rotten fly that she is sits on everyone's head?
G: he he guess we should start bloging our chats are enof material i guess (That's where I got the idea for this post !!)
A: WASP !!
G: Dirty, kinky, disturbing, bothersome, ugly, naggy WASP done!!
S: WASP is perfect !!

And the conversation continues to name the other species of animals, birds, insects.... et al.
