I found this really interesting 7-day meal plan on The Nest. It has a lot of variety and even includes a serving of dark chocolate :) So I think I'm gonna try this out next week ! :)

Morning Sickness ... and Afternoon, Evening & Night !!!!

It's become a daily... ok.. weekly affair.
I am perpetually Ill.
I really need to do something about this quick before the mighty pills take over my life. Before I turn into the person the right !!! Eeeeekssss......... !
I used to be a healthy person, brimming with energy. Now my eyes burn, my head aches and my tummy groans. Almost every other day !
I need a rehab ! A lifestyle change !

A question for the medical profession
Shouldn't they have come up with a method by now, by which, you could just remove and keep aside a body part that was hurting and go about your work, and then treat it separately and put it back when healed????
Just a thought.
Why should the entire body suffer !!!! Arggghhhhhhhhhhh.... I hate medicines !!!

Unhealthy
I lost some weight while I was ill. Am thrilled about that. So many people from work keep telling me, oh you have lost weight ! It gives me so much of pleasure :)
So yesterday, I decided to make the most of it and indulge myself. I was out of home, so there was no lunch or dinner cooked for me. I went to see the movie and ate a 'Paneer Achari' wrap - carbssss !!!
Then, I ordered a cold coffee from McDonalds, which tasted good at first but then somehow felt synthetic in the end. I also took away a Salad Sandwich and a Chicken McGrill. The burgers were good as usual. They are too simple to screw up anyways ! Why don't they give you one tomato sauce and one chilly sauce sachet??? I always have to ask ! Hmph !! I ate one for lunch/snack and the other for dinner.
Overall, a very unhealthy day. Full of carbs, which are like totally BAD coz I'm a firm believer of the Atkins diet.

Down and out
I had one hell of a week. I fell ill on October 1, got admitted to Jehangir Hospital on October 5, and then finally got discharged on October 9.
This was my first ever admission at a hospital, so u can guess it was pretty damn serious. I was tested for - Swine Flu (Of course!!!), Malaria, Typhoid and Dengue. After all the testing, blood taken about a million times, throat and nose swabs, sonography etc. etc. it was finally concluded that I did NOT have H1N1 !! But instead, I had Dengue, which is bad enough.
Since I had already been administered 'Tamiflu' when I was suspected to have H1N1, I had to complete the entire dose of 10 tablets and let me tell you, it is not a great experience. The bloody drug has the worst side effects. It makes you nauseous, takes away all your appetite, taste goes for a toss, its terrible !!!
Being in a hospital for so many days, really makes you appreciate your home, your nice comfy bed and blanket, the comfort of your own loo :) !! Oh.. Hospitals really do suck !
I was kept in the isolation ward for like 2 days, while they tried to figure out what exactly I had. I was pricked and prodded so many times. The IV was inserted three times in total, and my hands still ache from it ! The place where they drew blood has turned blue ! Even after four days at home, I still feel weak. Suddenly in the middle of the day, I feel as if I just don't have any energy to do a thing. I just want to curl into a ball and sleep. After-effects they say, which is why I have been forbidden to go to work this week.
I just hope this weak feeling goes away soon ! I don't like it one bit. Even my taste buds haven't returned to normal. Nothing appeals to my tongue any more. I want to eat so many yummy things, but when I actually put anything in my mouth, yuck is all I can taste !
Oh health ! Please come back soon ! I promise to take good, no great care of you ! God promise ;)
