New finds

Winter is here. And it is gonna be a cold one this year. Last year I hardly even needed a sweater but this year, I am sleeping in track bottoms (it is so cold) ! So I am lusting after awesome winter clothing.

For my new (imaginary) home

So well, I am late posting this but who cares. I love each one of these sofa-chairs and I will need a huge bungalow to fit in all the furniture I love. So they will all just go into my imaginary mansion in the French Riviera. 

And here come the CHAIRS....

Now only if I could figure out where to get the moolah for all this. And the space :P

Its getting HOT in here..

I wish I was strolling along the lane that connects Calangute to Baga...browsing through the tiny shops selling beautiful goodies..stopping here, then there..deciding if I really need to buy that lil-indulgence. Then stopping at one of those resto-bars to sip a beer or two...n then carrying on to finally hit the beach.

OK...Back to reality !!

Good Homes

I have decided to do a lil piece on home stuff every week... I just love the decor blogs I follow..the come up with simply lovely stuff... I constantly try to do up my home, even if its just a lil here and there (as much my purse strings permit). Its really fun..and these few things a re on my want list right now...

I love the color and print of this upholstered chair... It would fit right into my living room (I'd make place even if it didn't ) Then I would cozy up with a lil blanket and my book and play some music..a perfect weekend afternoon. This and the bonsai tree below are from this site.

I have developed this liking to plants ..and now bonsais. I still have to get my first one, and now I think this will be it. If only I could find this on the streets of my dear city :P

I found these lovely cushions at this site called aestheticart. I adore kitch and this is sooo totally IT ! I love the rich hue of the background n the faces are so alluring. I totally LIKE !

Aint this lamp so dainty and unique, I found it here...Its such a brilliant idea. It looks partly antique and partly modern. i just love it and it would be perfect for my desk :)

How cute is this tape holder. I mean can't they come up with such things here in India?? Coz the elephant and the work is so Indian. We shud really be the ones selling this. I want. You can get it here.

I know this is a home-decor post, but I came across this bag today and just couldn't help putting it up here. It is so me. It reflects the arty me and I so want it. Am sure I can find a similar one some where in Bombay or Delhi. Am on the lookout now. Found it here.

What elegant work wear.... I can just picture myself in this outfit walking down the highway in my office...heads turning..people swooning :P Just take a look at the killer heels.. Aha... This is what dreams are made of !!!

After long... a fav set

just killing time..and trying not to think about shitty stuff... so I thoght id get back to my fav pastime...POLYVORE ! So here it is..a set I would wear to someplace nice !

I am simply in love with that patched dress ! N the brown leather bag ! and the "stacked-bangles look." The watch is so damn classy. The clutch is so 'ME' and the shades are a color I don't have ! I adore the wrap cardigan. And don't even get me started about the shoes ..HOT HOT HOT !!!!

I was surprised by how quickly I got over Polyvore. When I first discovered it, I thought I would be addicted to it for months. But, it was not to be. It not as interesting as it was at first ! So I am posting my last few creations.

Am so totally in love with the watch. I love the silk strap, it just takes the watch from normal to fantastic ! The ring is whats gonna be my engagement ring :) earrings to match. A smart bag and closed flat shoes (best for work)

The clutch is too lust-worthy. Again the stack of bangles, I guess am gonna buy some for sure. Simple black pumps, and a shrug coz its chilly these days !
I just realized that the look for today (day and night) is just the opposite colors from day before. What a coincidence :)

I love the stacked bangle look, and the dress is cool and casual. Perfect to wear for a lucheon with friends.

An after-thought

Just after I posted the last post... I found this ! It made me drool... !!! I just had to add this to my list @!#


Isn't it WOW !! The color is simply fantastic and not run of the mill. The pattern is different. If only I could fit myself into it !

A dress... ok make that 3 !

I liked all three dresses... I couldn't chose the best one :( Too difficult ! The first one I love becoz of the color and the flowy material and that its one-shouldered. Second - I love black and white, and it looks so smart. Third - Love the color, the fit, the layered look of the cloth.

1. Notte by Marchesa, $1934.02 (insane price btw !) Its a full length gown, but I reduced it coz I think that wud suit only a tall person.
2. Lela Rose, $1695 (Wat were they thinking when they priced this !!!Uff)
3. Diane Von Furstenburg, $385 (the cheapest of the lot :) )

I can't afford any of these.. will have to look out for some cheaper options next time. Or maybe win a jackpot. Till then... I Will Dream :)

Maybe I'll do bags next week.... I'm simply loving this !

UPDATE: I found the black and white dress in the 'Fashion Critic's Favorite' section of Red-Carpet Fashion Awards.. Yay ! So my choice rockssss !!! \m/
