Outliers

My first non-fiction book. The first one I read from start to end. The first non-fiction book that I simply LOVED. 

I can't believe I really read a non-fiction book. I used to avoid such books like the plague ! But then my boss (ex-boss), who I idolize, handed me this book and then there was no looking back.

This book is all about Outliers, people who are totally different from the rest of us ! People who have that something special. But, he (Malcolm) goes on to prove that they aren't so successful because of their talent. It's because of the special events that occurred in their lives and the circumstances that they grew up in.

The examples are Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and many other such people.

I totally loved the way Malcolm looks at the stats and explains it so simply. The different aspects of the lives of these outliers are so interesting that you can't help but rethink everything you believed about these brilliant minds.

A must, must read. I am in love with Malcolm's writing. I am gonna read his other books as well, thanks to my boss who has left me 2 more :) :)
