Earth Hour

This time, I managed to remember the date and time. Somehow on all previous occasions, I always remembered till the very last minute and then forgot. So I was proud of myself, and also thankful to my building (they had put posters all over) and Twitter folk.

So, I switched off all the lights, logged off (what a shock) and mom and I had dinner on the balcony. There was enough and more light from all around, so it didn't feel really different, but I did my part. And thats what counts. The cool breeze was just lovely and the hour went by quite quickly. I saw some fireworks in the distance, could hear the children playing in the garden below. I hadn't sat in the balcony for ages and it was a great evening I must say. Just sitting there doing nothing, feeling the breeze on my face... peaceful.

I think I'm gonna do this atleast once a week, just sitting on the balcony, away from my electronics ! I also gotto click many pictures in the dark and some came out well.

P.S. From the picture you can notice that perhaps I was the only one observing Earth Hour, but who cares.
