I was waiting to see this one. After all, it had Farhan *grins foolishly* and Deepika, who's smile I totally adore and the new hairstyle really compliments it.So, it released and with the way things were going I thought I wouldn't be seeing it any time soon. But, as fate wud have it, I saw it, just two days after release. I had heard some reviews, mostly bad, so was a bit apprehensive. As I sat quietly in the theatre, which had super-awesome seats, I said a silent prayer (don't disappoint me farhan, don't)
The movie started of well. Farhan was his usual self, real and simple. Deepika, bubbly and sweet. First half is really gud, and second half is enthralling, but a bit long. Someone rightly pointed out to me that it was a good story line, but would have been better as a short story. The movie, as everyone knows, is about Karthik (with the choked voice) who gets a call from Karthik. Ha...if only that was it. I cant tell you what happens, coz u have to see it. Its an interesting plot, something not expected from bollywood. The suspense is maintained till the end, another plus point.
I liked the movie. I did. I liked Farhan (as always) and Deepika's acting has improved. The songs are good, especially, Uff teri ada. It makes me just wanna jump up and dance. Hey ya is so hummable.
Watch it, bollywood doesnt come up with such things often. Even though it needs tweaking, I enjoyed it. Maybe because I'm so used to being let down by the run-of-the-mill crap movies going around.
P.S. One strange thing, an in-ur-face flaw, was the sudden transition. I would have appreciated a gradual one. It wud have been more realistic.
