What a horrible waste of time.
S had warned me that it would be terrible but somehow I thought it might just be good.
But oh was I in for a bad surprise.
I went along with Dad. The theater was pretty empty. And then the torture began.
Its a hotch-potch of a story. Totally confused direction. It is basically about a family of politicians and their fight for power. Mama, chacha, bhanja, dewar all bloody mixed in a khichdi. Noone has even acted well. Such a huge starcast but everyone failed.
WTF moment - All the bloody women in the movie get pregnant the very first time they do it. Gosh, super fertility I must say.
WTF moment 2 - What the hell was Shruti Seth thinking whne she took up that role ? It does not suit her one bit. She looked totally out of place.
WTF moment 3 - Which movie was being copied btw ? Was it the godfather or the Mahabharat or what ? Such a fine blend, what a masterful director.
A utter waste I mus say. Thank god I did not pay too much for the tickets.
Totally agree!!! specially the ridiculous 'pregnant the first time around' bit! why??? had they never heard of birth control, were the swimmers these guys have so much smarter?? or was it simply that in order to create a truly 'bold and the beautiful' type mish mash of whose kid is who, you need to get them pregnant (and the quicker the better coz u only have like an hour and a half to torture people after all!)
