The week that was...

It was the usual work week, of course with an off day (due to this terrible throat ache I have). We were all flooded with work, due to some people complaining about all of us leaving early on Thursday! Don't they just have a life??

The work was ok, nothing too interesting, but decent.

I couldn't manage to read any books. I know I should have, but just felt lazy. I have promised myself that I will get down to reading the White Tiger by Arvind Adiga, yes the one that won the Booker Prize! I should start this week, and finish it by next.
I happened to see a couple ofmovies though.

One was "Barah Aana". Starring Naseruddhin Shah, Vijay Raaz (brilliant) & Arjun Math
ur. It has been directed by this new director called Raja Menon. I must say he has done a brilliant job. It is a simple movie, about simple people but their lives have been portrayed so beautifully.
It has its dashes of comedy now and then. But overall, it is a great movie, which went quite unnoticed by the masses. I really don't know why!

Also, saw this British comedy, I think it was british from the accent, but never know. "Death at a funeral" Damn funny. Its about the events that take place at a funeral. Quite hillarious. Well made.

Right now am in the middle of watching "Lord of War" recommended by a friend. It is turning out quite well. Nicholas Cage playing a arms dealer.

So thats about what I did this week. Hope the coming week has as many names of books as movies :)
