Day Two: Nine things about yourself.

I don't think I have ever done this here before. But since Im following the tag, here I go:

1. I want to be an artist. I am currently in a diametrically opposite profession and I am trying hard to get myself to move. I keep looking up courses all round the world which I can take up. I am yet to freeze on something. But till then I dream and hope.

2. I love my hair long. I have always always wanted waist length hair. I think this has got something to do with my tortured childhood where I was not allowed to even have shoulder length hair for reasons "god alone knows." I had a boy-cut for most of my life but after my 10th I put my foot down and refused to let anyone decide what kind of hair cut I got. I am still in the process of trying to grow my stubborn hair, who refuse to budge from their 1 mm a year speed.

3. I love traveling. Well then again, who doesn't. But I really really do. I don't mind if all I got for my b'day was travel vouchers. I don't want shoes, clothes, diamonds ...I want to travel. Thats it !

4. I am entirely hippy. I would love to quit my job and roam the world with a back-pack. Volunterring here and there and just living my life. But well, ahem, S wouldn't really come along coz he's so totally different. So then it wudn't be so much fun. So i'll just stick here. I think this characteristic comes with being an arty kinda person. I would love to live the typical nomad artist's life.

5. I bite my nails. It is something im not at all proud off. But no matter what I do (even if I dont bite) they refuse to grow. They are brittle I guess. So off and on, I bite ! Ive tried all kinds of methods to stop - Ive even put tape around my fingers. Alas !

6. I absolutely adore dogs and cats and most animals. I love cuddling stray cats, dogs, horses, cows etc. And ya reptiles are NOT animals. Talking about reptiles, I am not scared of lizards. I think toads are kinda cute and so are mice. When I was little, my mom once found rat babies in a cupboard and I was all teary-eyed when we had to throw them out. They were so cute, as tiny as my thumb and pink. Awww.

7. I hate phone conversations. Unless I really really have to call, Id rather chat, mail, write, sms. I know that habit really irritates S. But I just get uncomfortable and then whats the point really. I get really awkward talking to strangers. Ah...something I gotto overcome someday. No hurry !

8. Last, phew. I collect socks and miniature perfumes and magnets and postcards too. And I love giving cards. I make some for Christmas, Diwali, birthdays of course. I just love giving cards !

9. I do not enjoy driving. No I dont care for fancy cars. Ya, I'd like to sit in them but drive..I'll give that a pass please. I have just about started to enjoy driving my 800 around town. But thats about it I guess.
