3 Idiots

This post is super-duper long overdue. I think it has been months since I saw this movie, so I'll just be brief about it.

I thought the movie was a bit hyped. I admit it was a nice movie. I did enjoy it, but I wouldn't watch it again. (well I wouldn't watch any movie twice really, and not this one for sure.) I knew people who saw it not once, not twice, but thrice. Three whole times. That sure was going overboard.

So, as most of us would have seen the movie, its about 3 friends in an engineering college. One did not want to do engineering but was forced by his parents. One is a poor confused soul, overburdened with a family to take care of. The third is a brilliant fellow who thinks out of the box all the time. Then suddenly he disappears and after many years they go on a lookout for him. Also, there is the very nerdy guy (but of course) and the girl friend. Oh, how could I forget the manic professor. All in all, a good comic movie. I preferred the message they conveyed more than the humor. Ya, that's me.

I studied in a school which did not have exams till the 8th. Art, music, sports were encouraged as much as academics. The atmosphere was open and friendly. our teachers were our friends. It was lovely. I would send my children to a school like mine. Thus, I loved the message conveyed through the film.
