Yesterday was a bad bad day - for cooking !

I tried to make this Goan recipe from Smitten Kitchen, I started off well and it was smelling good. Then it all started going downhill. I left the kitchen for 10 mins to go do something, the recipe even said leave it for 20 mins, but by the time I came back, my dad was inspecting the damage. It was slightly burnt. :(

I tried to salvage what was left, but nope. Luck was just not on my side. It just got worse and worse. By the end of it, It looked horrible and forget the taste, I don't even wanna go there.

In the evening, I put in some microwave popcorn. It generally takes abt 4-5 mins for the entire bag to pop. But when I returned, something had gone wrong and it was totally burnt ! :( :(

After that I decided I'd not cook anymore on such a doomed day. Maybe today I will make the Jeera Aloo :)
