I have a certain aversion towards pearls, especially set in Indian style of jewelery. I don't mind a strand of lovely pearls worn with a smart dress to work. But, pearl bangles and huge necklaces... no no no! take them awa
I came across this lovely ring here... I must find a lookalike somewhere.. this costs an insane amount of $2400, maybe coz it has white sapphires n stuff @! The look is so much like 'kundan.' I would just love to slip it on right NOW!
Even gold, I recently have started tolerating gold. But only the dull gold. Never can I imagine wearing something bright yellow ans shiny. I might have to give in on my wedding, coz everything might not be of my choice, but as long as I can stay away, I'll be mighty happy. White gold is nice.

I have a boxful of rings, anklets, chains, pendants, earrings....thanks to 'Sudhan' on M.G Road. Got all my piercings done from there as well. That place has some wonderful things, some still out of budget :( But the day shall come, and we will wait eagerly for that day !!
Platinum.. I dunno, whats the hype, except that its so damn expensive. I would just get white gold.
And I think thats it !! No other kind of jewelery qualified for this post, or caught my fancy yet.
